In May 2023 our SRPe Thematic Leadership Groups (TLG) have been out and about, with our ‘Advanced Manufacturing’ Leadership Group visiting the National Manufacturing Institute Scotland and our ‘Robotics & Autonomous Systems’ and ‘Infrastructure & Environment’ Leadership Groups visiting The National Robotarium.

These leadership groups are made up of key academics from across the 10 SRPe partnership universities. The groups shape the direction of travel in each theme, identify priority areas and share research, with a view to forming consortia with industry and public sector partners, in order to respond rapidly to large scale, multidisciplinary collaborative funding bids.

It was fantastic to connect our pan-Scottish academic engineering experts with key leaders from National Manufacturing Institute Scotland and The National Robotarium to share capabilities and explore future collaborative opportunities.
